Student Success Statement
“If it is not right,
do not do it; if it is not true do not say it.”
Marcus Aurelius
Roman Emperor from 161 AD to 180 AD
Reflection:
I think he is trying to say that we must all live honorable
and respectable lives. If we know for a fact that action is wrong and will hurt
others we should not do it. If something is not true we should not say it
because that small fib can have large consequences. In order to be respected
anywhere we need to earn that respect by being righteous and honest. Those two
traits will get you anywhere in life.
