Reflection:

       I think that he saying that it is not enough to listen put you also have to know what the person is saying. By knowing what the person is saying you will be able to write down the most important facts. I agree with this because when writing down notes the best way to memorize them is if you understand what is being said to you and you being able to write it down in your own words. If you can do that it means you are a great listener.
