What are some issues you see in your community that need attention?

There are many issues in my community that need urgent attention. For example, there are many teenagers that use drugs. Another issue would be the lack of art programs available.A third issue the amount of unwanted pregnancies in the young female Latino community.

What can YOU do to help change your community and/or work towards solving these issues? 

We can help solve these issues by having more after school programs teens could go to so they won't find the need to do the drugs. For more art programs we can ask the district to bring more and we can tell them that the community is in dire need of artistic options. It will help since there have been studies that if a kid has an art class that they will do better in school. We need more options to focus our time on. For the issue of unwanted pregnancies we can offer more options on protection or Plan B.
