Two 5th grade girls planned a fight in an alley. They fought over a boy that was in their school. Now one of the 2 girls is being sent to juvenile hall for murder. The 2nd girl died because of the hits she received. One was to the head and she died of a blunt force trauma to the head. 

The force caused a blood clot and after surgery , which was successful, her heart stopped. Both families are devastated.One of the girls is imprisoned and the other is dead. Their families will take a long time to recover from the stupidity of the two girls.

They both fought over a fellow male peer. They fought over a BOY. In my opinion he wasn't worth fighting over and certainly not a death. They thought they could solve their problems in a fight. In a way both of their lives ended. When they decided to fight was when new problems arose. Violence should never be the answer.

Instead of fighting, kids should find a better way of communicating their feelings to one another. Advisory should be used to enrich communicating skills.
