How to Always Succeed
In School
Part 3
Study: Yeah. That’s right. Study. Read, review and analyze class material so you know it. This takes time, effort and a quiet place. If you learn how to study now, you’ll be way ahead before you even start college.
· Ask for help if you’re having trouble. You may need to ask moe than one person.
· Have a special area for studying where you won’t be distracted.
· Study in small “chunks” and take regular breaks. Try not to cram.
· Have a regular study routine to make studying a habit.
· Study with a friend or group and share information

How to Always Succeed
In School
Part 2
Listen and ask questions. Still afraid of looking stupid? Don’t worry about it.  If you’ve got a question about something, chances are your classmates do too.
·    Review your notes and assignments before class.
·    Give your teacher your full attention and concentrate on what is being said.
·    Relate the topic to what you already know and listen for main ideas.
·    Make eye contact if you don’t understand, but try not to interrupt your teacher. Raise your hand or wait until your teacher pauses or asks for questions

What I Will Do To Graduate from High
School
I am still a freshman, but I know what I must do to graduate from high school and then go on to a college of my choice. Even if I am still in 9th grade I know my grades from now are very important. They will determine whether I get into a private college or not. I have currently been trying to get all A’s for the semester grade. Right not I have 3 B’s and the rest are A’s. I am so close but to get the three more A’s I must focus and must turn in the best work that I can possibly do. After 9th grade, in 10th grade I will retake the PSAT even if it feels easy for me. But I will try to talk to the counselor and try to convince her to let me take the SAT since the PSAT seems too easy. I will also try to take the hardest and most advanced classes I could possibly take. I will pass the CAHSEE exam. I will also get into a band and play the alto saxophone again. By the 11th grade I will be taking AP classes. I will retake the SAT and study hard to get a great score. I will be looking more into financial aid and colleges and how CTY will help me get into a good college. Again I will take the most advanced classes I could get. In the 12th grade I will be taking college classes outside of school to prepare for a university. I will be narrowing down what field I want to study and major in but I will get my PhD. I will be visiting nearby universities that might interest me. By January that same school year, I will know for sure what I will study and where I will study.

How to Success in
School
Part 1
Some experts say the difference between good students and poor students isn’t mainly ability. Instead, it’s how students organize themselves to use their abilities. A little organization can produce amazing results! Get Organized:
*                       Have a homework agenda or scribbles to keep track of your organization to keep track of your assignments, and always carry it.
*                       Ask the teacher for some outside help when the classroom explanation is not adequate for you.
*                       Use scribbles to put your notes in, and keep them organized.
*                       Have phone numbers for classmates, especially of one who will be your “homework buddy”. This is someone in your class who collect hand-outs and assignments for you when you are absent in school. You can borrow your buddy’s notes when you return to school, and you can do the same for this friend.
*                       Ask questions when you are unsure of something.
*                       Pay attention in class t it is very easy to let your mind wander. Take note, concentrate on what is being said: it will be easier to absorb the information being presented.
*                       Keep your bookshelf, desk, and kitbag neat.
*                       Be prepared for each class, bringing the materials you need to class (including pencil and paper).
